We hope you will explore the unique range of opportunities
available through Brighter Futures Educational Trust.
Larwood Primary Schools, located in Stevenage and Pulloxhill, provides a nurturing
and supportive environment for children with social, emotional, and mental health
needs. We also support pupils with diagnosed conditions such as autism and ADHD
as part of their special educational needs.
We place great value on strong relationships between staff and pupils. Classes are
small (fewer than 10 pupils), with teachers supported by Learning Support Assistants
to help every child achieve their best. Named after the great English bowler Harold
Larwood, the school promotes values of hard work, a positive attitude to learning,
teamwork, and the confidence to try new things.
Positive reinforcement is at the heart of our approach. Our reward system – using
points, trips, notes home, medals, certificates, and raffle prizes – helps children make
positive changes and understand the value of structure and rules. This creates a safe,
respectful, and enjoyable school environment for all.
Brandles School is a secondary school in Bladock that specialises in supporting boys
with emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
Ours is a successful, warm, and welcoming school where students feel happy and
valued. We offer a wide range of clubs, trips, and enrichment opportunities to help our
young people grow, explore, and thrive.
Our staff work hard and genuinely care about each student’s progress, wellbeing, and
future.
We have high expectations. We expect students to try their best and uphold the
highest standards of behaviour and conduct. In return, we offer exceptional support,
encouragement, and quality teaching.
Simply put, we want every student to flourish – and we’re committed to helping them
be their very best.
